MAST AND HIGH VOLTAGE INSULATION BY KAGO

Polypropylene HDPE insulating sheets can be used to protect underbridge and mast areas from contact with current carrying wires.

These 6mm thick sheets are ideal when space is limited. They will insulate up to 35kV. Light weight and easy to install they can be mounted directly to the underbridge, mast or onto a sub-frame. Insulating caps are vulcanised over the mounting screws to ensure electrical insulation over the full length of the panel.

In respect to 'simultaneous touchability' people can be endangered by potential differences (rail vs. power station potential). This can be efficiently prevented by the new standardized KAGO mast insulation.
